People change, marriages change and love changes. Any marriage that is going to survive the rigors of change will have mastered the art of adaptation. Each individual must adapt to the ways in which their partner is changing, the way the self is changing and the way the relationship is changing. It seems like a lot of hard work, but the simplest definition of a marriage, told to me by my mother, is hard work. Congratulations on making it to the end of year 22.
